Performer Denies Anti-Vaccine Views After Lending His Voice To Disputed Pandemic Film
The acclaimed actor has lent his vocal talents to a feature-length documentary that challenges the legitimacy of vaccinations and commends ex- health official RFK Jr.
The Feature's Contentious Foundation
Named "Plague of Corruption," the film is based on a popular book co-authored by Judy Mikovits, who became famous during the global outbreak for allegations that Covid was a result of a faulty batch of the flu vaccine.
The book's writing partner, a producer, has also written books with controversial figure the Infowars host. Heckenlively recently posted hailing Neeson's involvement in the film.
A Strong Denial
Representatives for Neeson have issued a statement firmly refuting implications that he supports anti-immunization views.
"We all understand that corruption might be present within the drug industry, but that must not be confused with being against vaccines," the statement reads. "He has never been, and cannot be described as, against vaccines. His extensive work with the UN children's agency reinforces his long-held support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."
The statement added that the actor did not shape the documentary's messaging and that questions about its assertions ought to go to the producers.
Central Claims Featured in the Film
As presented, the voiceover spoken by Neeson includes several strong claims:
- It suggests that pro-immunization voices have demanded "complete compliance" to government bodies.
- It posits that "science has become deeply politicized."
- Robert F Kennedy Jr is featured stating, "The big problem with vaccines is that they are not properly vetted."
- The narration also criticizes pandemic restrictions, saying they caused psychological harm that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
- On the topic of the immunizations, it cites a view that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "risky trials."
Historical Background and Current Issues
The documentary includes a 2004 BBC documentary about AIDS medication trials on children, which was later the focus of a formal apology by the corporation for editorial breaches.
Recently, Kennedy directed the CDC to revise its official position that there is no link between vaccines and autism. This assertion is echoed in the documentary, contrary to a fresh analysis from the WHO stating no connection has been found.
An Earlier Position of Endorsement
Standing in contrast to the documentary's message, Neeson has previously shown firm endorsement for vaccines in his capacity as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.
Previously, he described vaccines as "an incredible achievement," adding that "The debate about vaccines in the past few years has forgotten how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in history."
The film ends with Neeson's script proclaiming, "This marks not the finish of our story. This is the start of a fresh chapter."
