Organizers of the year's first Grand Slam have revealed the Seven-Figure Quick-Fire Competition, which will pit 10 amateur players against elite athletes in a single-elimination format at the Australian Open venue

Competitors are set to play 'the decision-making game' to decide who serves or receives, and the competitor securing the point will progress to the next round

The winner of the event will earn a significant cash prize

For comparison, players who advanced to the final four of the main draw competitions in the previous year's tournament won substantial prize money
